Wilton Red and Green Cookie Icing Set, 2 Count (Pack of 1)

I usually purchase these icings at Walmart over the Christmas season for my cut-out cookies, as I've had great luck with them for years, but this year either Walmart didn't carry them or they were sold out. I will only use these, so I was thankfully able to get them quickly via Amazon. These icings are a nice rich color, have good flavor, and are easy to use!

I made cookies with my granddaughter for Christmas. Very easy to use, but you have to remember to heat it up in the microwave very slightly to get the right consistency. If you don't, it's hard to squeeze out of the bottle That's with any frosting

Product was runny and smelled/tasted like plastic. The red icing date code shows "21137" and the green icing date shows "21142". That means that they were produced in 2021, on the 137th and 142nd day of that year. Wilton's website says that the "Freshness Range" is within 12 months of coded date. The cardboard packaging has a "lot code" showing "21193".

Bought these to decorate sugar cookies and was hoping to drizzle across in a kind of zigzag pattern. Both icings, even without microwaving, were much too thin to be useful.

A pretty typical tasting icing ( the powdered sugar and water type ) so about exactly what you think it will taste like. It's the bottles that make it better and easier to control for designs.I did look for an expiration date on the packaging but I didn't find one, so I'm not a 100% sure on that part. I do know these sell out here on Amazon fairly early so if you want them for the holidays I suggest planning ahead.

Purchased these as a convenient way for the kids to decorate cookies. Easy to use, minimal mess and will be ordering again in the future!

This icing is great! Tastes well and is easy to use. Is sometimes hard to find so I'm thankful for Amazon!
