Very well put together and good value for the price
Packaged well in a sturdy multi-compartment box, the kit has enough projects to keep you busy for days. Documentation includes micro.bit code for each project and an online link gives you more info and Microsoft MakeCode blocks for each project as well. This is a great way to learn coding with blocks - it's simpler than you expected! The photo is of two projects combined, temperature measurement with an LCD readout. All included except the AA batteries. This is a super value.

Excellent sensor kit with tutorials for every device
Great kit to try the different sensors, and use them in electronics projects. They have direct connection to micro-bit or Arduino, so you won't need any special tools, or cables. The libraries are already available, and can be included in a program in seconds.I highly recommend this.

This is a wonderful gift for a future robot maker
This kit has SO many parts that there is basically no limit to what you can build. The microbit is SO easy to use. This kit has good documentation and a decent case to carry all the little pieces of electronic "jewelry".

My first time using microbit
We used Keyestudio Micro:bit stuff at our STEM camp in Alaska and I really liked it. I buy a good bit of microcontroller stuff from China and when I have the choice, I usually choose Keyestudio stuff. The boards just seem to be a little higher quality and they tend to put more thought in the design, aesthetic, and documentation.

not all of it works
have only tried a few components in the kit so far, but at least some of the components don't work with example keyestudio code found on web tutorials. example: LCD does not work. I verified with oscilloscope its getting I2C signals but it appears to not behave with example code in keyestudio tutorials. no control over backlight, cant display a string. Also, pretty much zero documentation. Also, not sure why the tutorial has you install an arduino driver for microbit.

Good quality, Challenging enough to be fun :-)
My niece loves experimenting with all kinds of gadgets, and she is really enjoying this kit! It has lots and lots of options, and some ideas about what she can build so my role is easy: I just give my opinion on the next project and then ooh and aah when she gets it working :-). Perfect! So far she finds the assembly challenging, but everything has worked, and I gotta say I’m impressed with the quality of the parts.
